Dorothy Valmont's love for music and ministry began when she was 10 years old. Growing up as a pastor's child, she was surrounded by faith, worship, and service. While still young, Dorothy sensed God's call upon her life and recognized that music would be an important part of her purpose.

For more than 30 years, Dorothy has faithfully served as a worship leader. She is also a motivational speaker who shares messages of faith, healing, hope, and perseverance. In 2019, she married her husband, Doug Valmont. United by their faith and love for music, they continued serving together and eventually entered full-time ministry.

A Testimony of Healing

In December 2025, Dorothy was diagnosed with sarcoidosis, a serious chronic inflammatory illness that took away her ability to sing. In the middle of that difficult season, Dorothy believes God spoke to her heart and promised that He would heal her.

Five months later, Dorothy's voice and ability to sing returned. She received that restoration as God's healing and now shares her testimony through music, declaring that God still heals, restores, and gives hope. Through Divine Music Ministry, Dorothy and Doug use every song, prayer, and gathering to point people toward Jesus Christ.

Evangelism, healing, encouragement, and worship are at the heart of their mission as they serve churches and communities locally and throughout the United States.
